TARGET 

PROJECT MADE BY ANCI UMBRIA AND THE PROVINCE OF TERNI IN COLLABORATION WITH THE REGION UMBRIA, IT LASTS TWO YEARS ,AND IT IS ADDRESSED TO STUDENTS OF SCHOOLS IN THE PROVINCE OF TERNI

 

The project activities, typically operative, focused during the first year in the analysis of the possible situations of risk in the territory and in the study of the Provincial Civil Protection plans and of the Municipalities relating to participating towns of which the schools are involved.

 

During the first year of the project all the classes of the schools involved have been working to produce a report summarized in an expeditious Plan and the preparation of a TV ad with information about the expeditious Plan, useful to adopt appropriate behaviours by the population.

 

During the second year, starting from theoretical technical lessons through subsequent activities in the laboratory, has been designed and built an emergency area.

 

The validity of the project was to bring the Civil Protection Plan to be part of the school program and to allow working on a real model through the multi-disciplinary analysis of the knowledge of the area and the simulation of various risk scenarios until you get to area of  emergency planning in all its phases, from the choice of the techniques articulated in the early stages of planning as well as legal proceedings and in administrative, economic and financial.

 

FINAL PRODUCT:

- Implementation of a Plan expeditious;

- Creation of a complete planning of the hospitality area;

- Creation of an information advert ;

- The final event with a simulation;

- Realization of the hospitality area.

Project Laboratory Emergency 2009-2011

IT IS A PROJECT OF TEACHING METHOD ON SECURITY TIME AND PROTECTION FOR THE CULTURE SPREAD of CIVIL PROTECTION

 

The education to Civil Protection in the young fits itself without doubt in the context of safeguarding their security in public and private places but it is configured also as psycho-pedagogical problem.

 

Educating to Civil Protection is to bring young people from the earliest age, to build inside them attitudes of responsibility, self-control, reality testing, risk assessment and awareness of their limits.

 

These are all dimensions that grow and are structured with the personality and are part of it, help young people to build their one is task of educators, but also of the school as well as of the family.

 

To this end, ANCI Umbria collaborated since 2008 with the Umbria Region to the realization of the teaching project "Stay away from the dangers" which has as its primary objective to stimulate awareness that every citizen even the youngest can play an active and participating role to contribute personally to the protection the environmental heritage and the reduction of the risks present in the territory.

 

In a society very fragile and complex as ours we can not ignore the knowledge of the territory in which we live and the risks to which we are subjected and that the consequences of natural events in the territory can not be determined by chance, but dealt with preparation.

 

So the project has been created to raise awareness among young people on the issue of civil protection, through an approach based on knowledge of the measures to implement the Protection of human lives and material goods, and the presence of the volunteer civil protection as spokesperson of such values, is a reference point based on experience regarding the activities carried out on the territory.

 

The project over the past 5 years has recorded the participation of 80% of Umbrian Educational Institutions, involving approximately 35,000 students with the active support of 120 Voluntary Organisations

 

Over the years ANCI Umbria has produced dissemination material specifically designed to spread, to the students of the classes involved in the project, the basic concepts of civil protection.

 

Project "away from the dangers" 2008-2013

CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW GENERATION OF DIGITAL PLATFORM ADDRESSED TO CHILDREN, TEACHERS AND VOLUNTEERS FOR THE SPREAD OF THE CONTENT ON PREVENTION AND PROTECTION AGAINST RISK THROUGH THE PREPARATION OF INNOVATIVE TEACHING TOOLS

 

The project of the learning platform is an evolution of the work done in the last 4 years, which has involved more than 35,000 students of Umbrian schools, through the transition from lectures to the creation of a tool accessible to a large number of users and which is able to achieve widespread scientific knowledge of the risks and their management. The project was created with the intention of stimulating the awareness of every citizen, even the youngest, to the active participation for the protection of human life, heritage and reduction of the existing risks.

 

The web platform dedicated to students, teachers and Voluntary Organisations of Civil Protection has been developed with the aim of promoting both knowledge of the tools of prevention, as well as those of emergency through courses via the web, games based on e-learning, web forums, thematic areas, educational videos, workshops and virtual spaces.

 

The diffusion of knowledge and culture of civil protection among the population is of fundamental importance for those operating in this field.

That's why raise awareness among the school and the children on the issues of civil protection means first of all to develop skills to deal with different situations of danger and also contribute to introduce fundamental values such as solidarity, caring for others and help them.

OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT:

 

  • introduce children of school age to the themes of civil protection;

  • provide models of behavior aimed at respecting the territory and the environment;

  • develop skills necessary to allow children to timely address the various situations of risk;

  • disseminate the culture of civil protection through the knowledge of local structures and the role of institutions       working in the field of civil protection;

  • extend at school the knowledge and awareness of the different types of risks in the territory.
