TARGET 

PROJECT AIMED TO HELP, RAISE AWARENESS THE MUNICIPALITIES IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF PLANS REFERRED TO HYDRO-GEOLOGICAL HAZARD AND SEISMIC RISK AND TO SUPPORT THE DEPARTMENT OF REGIONAL CIVIL PROTECTION DURING EMERGENCIES.

 

Given the remarkable results achieved and the need to continue to support the activities of municipalities in the preparation of municipal plans of Civil Protection, from February 2010, started the project "ANCI-Prevention in Umbria."

 

Objectives of the project:

- To assist the local authorities in charge of the preparation of municipal plans of civil protection in drafting tables of risk;

- Definition of emergency procedures related to hydrogeological risk and seismic risk;

- support activities for operations room of the Umbria Region.

 

The work, widespread and systematic, made  protagonists of the various local realities, both in drafting that in updating plans of civil protection in harmony with the regional system.

 

In addition, one of the activities of particular national relevance related to seismic risk has been the analysis of Condition Limit for Emergency (CLE), tested for the first time in Italy, on the territory of the Municipality of San Giustino (PG).

 

The Plan for Seismic Risk together with the Plan for Fire Risk and the Hydrogeological Risk, will be a further step towards the completion of the municipal plans Multirisk.

 

In carrying out planning activities, on numerous occasions Technicians have supported the Civil Protection Service of the Region of Umbria in the course of emergencies and extraordinary events at regional and national level and during drills.

Project: Prevention in Umbria 2010-2013

THE PROJECT IS AIMED TO SUPPORT THE CIVIL PROTECTION SERVICE OF UMBRIA REGION FOR MANAGING THE SEISMIC EMERGENCY DURING THE EARTHQUAKE THAT STRUCK ABRUZZO TERRITORY IN APRIL 2009

 

Following the earthquake that hit the Abruzzo, Umbria ANCI has provided its experience by activating the project "ANCI - Emergency 2009", whose primary goal was to immediately support the Region of Umbria in the rescue activities and handling structures such as the DI.COMA.C, the Camp Paganica, with about 3000 people assisted, the COM 5 and COM 6 co-direction by ensuring its presence until December 2009.

 

On this occasion, ANCI Umbria, in addition to providing its staff, which is divided between the activities on the field and those in the operations room of the Umbria Region, has established a fruitful working relationship with the University Association of Civil Protection LARES (Students and Graduates in Civil Protection).

 

During this project, the experience of ANCI Umbria technicians gained in Abruzzo was immediately reinvested in the earthquake that struck in the same year, the territory of Marsciano, providing support to the Municipal Administration.

Project: Emergency 2009

THE PROJECT IS AIMED TO CREATE A LOGISTIC/SUPPORT STRUCTURE TO ASSIST UMBRIA'S MUNICIPALITIES IN THE MUNICIPAL DEVELOPMENT PLANS FOR THE FIRE RISK'S SCENE AND, MORE GENERALLY, FOR THE CREATION OF INITIATIVES FOR THE DISSEMINATION OF CULTURE OF CIVIL PROTECTION .

 

Objectives of the project:

creating a SUPPORT SYSTEM to municipal activities,

construction of a STRONG REFERENCE STRUCTURE belonging to the system REGION, PROVINCES AND MUNICIPALITIES in which to share methodologies and tools that can assist the activities of the directors in the preparation of municipal plans Multirisk Civil Protection;

drawing maps of vulnerability and risk;

involvement of the Directors.

 

"OPCM 3624/2007 Project Assistance to Municipalities" has provided, through the use of experienced personnel in the field of Coordination of Civil Protection activities, technical assistance at specific offices of the municipalities of Umbria and support to the Local Administrators.

 

They acquired data essential to ensure that municipalities could proceed with the preparation of plans for the expeditious fire risk, defining roles, responsibilities and procedures guidelines for the management of crisis situations.

 

The technical staff of ANCI Umbria has been working in collaboration with the Department of Civil Protection, the Umbria Region, the Provinces and Prefectures of Perugia and Terni, the State Forestry Corps, the Fire Brigade and the technical staff of local government involved and drew up the basic model of the Draft Plan for Civil Protection for the Fire Risk.

 

In June 2008, 90% of the Umbrian municipalities have approved a plan for the risk scenario fires interface.
