Since 2008, ANCI Umbria, in collaboration with the Region of Umbria, activated an intense activity of realization and management of projects and initiatives to support policies and services for the civil protection, based on recognition of the central role of the municipality in the complex system of civil protection.
A local planning efficient becomes the basis for what will be a higher-level planning at the municipal level and provincial level according to a dynamic path that sees models subject to verification and constantly updated.
The support activities undertaken in 2008, and initially linked to the planning, has created strong connections between administrations, technicians and volunteers. The creation of a system of Local Government keeps alive the necessary steps for the prevention and ensures a proper fulfillment of legal obligations in the field of Civil Protection.

• STIMULATE a link between administrators, citizens and territory;
• SHARE planning tools with citizens;
• Involvement of the technical staff of the Local Administration in the planning stages;
