Within the framework of environmental protection policies, the first objective is to implement a waste management system designed to limit the negative impact that they have on the environment.

 

OBJECTIVES

- To raise awareness among local administrators to activate forms of involvement and participation of the population;

- To reorganize the waste collection services moving from the traditional collection systems on roads to a curbside collection system and illustrate new ways of carrying out;

- To explain the recovery and recycling of waste collected separately;

- To illustrate the methods of control and the sanctions provided.

 

The Umbria Region provides an inflatable stand (made in line with the regional policies of the waste material from 100% recycled PET bottles) for use in tour that will visit all the towns starting from the larger ones already affected by curbside collection system and in those where it's going the reorganization of it.

It will provide its communication material, already made or to be realized.

ANCI Umbria on behalf of the Region of Umbria within its institutional role, will involve, by providing information and the communications, the municipal authorities of Umbria.

It will coordinate the tour of the inflatable stand and will keep in touch with all the parties involved, sending them all the documentation related to the project.
